set to melodies of
ecstacy or suffering,
darkness and light...
the stage of life unfolds eternally,
with us the minor players,
whom take our grace from god
searching out the wrong from right,

and who sometimes forget
that ours alone is not all there is;
we shrink from our own needs and infatuations,
are sometimes so desperate
that we are no longer appealing
to our own higer mind;
too afraid to speak
at the top of our own voices;
too attached to see the glory
of merely being
alive.
